one of those other people

For a brief moment I was one of those people. You know those people that you visit and they say "I just pulled a cake out of the oven."

On Saturday I was that person, who had just pulled a cake from the oven when some friends dropped in with lunch for us. Not just any cake, a wonderful Pear Did the Sun Go Cake.

I always wanted to be one of those people.

  3. Well, I am one of those people who only comments when they want to win something. Ha.

Actually, I did want to say how happy I am you're blogging again. Maybe you'll inspire me to do the same (double ha). Although you did inspire me to return to Pinterest. I don't know why I was ever down on it.

And that is where I have pinned my (current) favourite item - the Canberra cushion. Because probably no-one else ever will. Haters.

  4. I love those people, particularly when they visit me with something they just baked as I don't bake but I eat cake. I've pinned your Lion cushion and map of New Zealand cushion. Have always loved your cushions!

  8. Ooh yes, I've always wanted to be one of those people too. A pot of coffee just made and a tray of cookies or something yummy just coming out of the oven. It never gets timed right with the arrival of guests. Just pinned your Canada cushion cover. It's lovely!

  14. Dear lady all your stuff rocks. That llama cushion makes me smile no matter how many times I see it- you just want to reach out and stroke those eyebrow hairs. The morten bay fig makes me feel grounded though and that's always a good thing and yep, pinned that.
As for your baking, oh yeahhh :-)
