A portrait of my children once a week for 2014.

Marlo- we had a little bit of cooler weather over the week , so nice to see our big girl with her hair all messy.

Romi- wearing her Von -trap overalls again, being cheeky, feet up at the table.
I have taken the plunge into the world of full manual on my camera. It's a bit scary, and there is a lot of swearing but I think I am starting to get it. I actually took some pictures this week, on this post where the light wasn't great but I was able to tweak the camera setting to make it work. I feel like I still have so far to go but I am glad I have started! When I started this project my goal was to have the camera set to manual by the end of March so I am way ahead of myself. But you know that feeling where you know what you think is good now in 6 months time will make you cringe?
More 52 projects over at practicing simplicity.

  1. I have been trying to figure out the manual setting as well-- I am always looking at light now, how it hits me & my kids....I aso made a VonTrapp skirt once out of some gold brocaded 70's curtains, it was awesome...Hope your week is lovely

    1. Thanks Heidi! I still get really flustered and confused and I am not happy about the picture of Romi insofar as it's very grainy,

  2. I'm adoring your pics! Love that cheeky Romi with her feet up!

Thank you for stopping by. X
